Mission Statement
The Global Community of Women in High School Sports exists for women and their allies to interrelate, develop, and amplify their experiences and professional skills in service to each other and to the educational sports profession. EVERYONE is invited to join!
First and foremost we are empowering the next generation of women leaders. We do this in and with the support of the many professional opportunities the Global Community offers. Events such as Monthly Office Hour, Mentoring Program, Book Club, regional and national events and much more!
Being a female in this male dominated space of high school athletics makes it a necessity to connect with look and like minded people. The GCWHS creates that space where ALL feel welcome.
We offer a monthly zoom call which we call our Monthly Office Hour. In this zoom call for our membership we share advice, opportunities and amplify the voices of women in sport.

Watch our conversation with six amazing women who share their stories about life as a woman in sports.
On the first Tuesday of every month, we host our Monthly Office Hour zoom call. We invite speakers from across the country to share their programs, stories and opportunities for us to grow as Athletic Directors and Coaches.
We have made sure that while we are a Global network that you have local connections in your state and region.
The purpose of a mentor is to help you grow as a person and become the best version of yourself. This may involve helping you achieve your personal or career goals, introducing you to new ways of thinking, challenging your limiting assumptions, sharing valuable life lessons, and much more. Our Mentoring program helps women navigate life as a female athletic director.
The Global Community of Women in High School Sports has connected with NOMAD (National Organization of Minority Athletic Directors). We know there is strength and power in our unity. We collaborate on many opportunities and are very proud of THE ALLIANCE!
