I often find myself the only woman in the room. After years of trying to find a space to connect with other females in high school sports I decided that space was only going to exist if I created it. Thus the Global Community was born. This is a community for EVERYONE!

Hey! I've been the Athletic Director at Woods Charter School (Chapel Hill, NC), since 2014. I oversee and direct the entire athletic program at Woods Charter (K-12) and teach two 9th grade Health and PE classes. I am an active member of the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association, and is licensed as a Certified Athletic Administrator (CAA). After playing collegiate soccer, coaching collegiate soccer and coaching as a sports performance coach collegiately, I felt right at home when I became an athletic director. I revel in building relationships and developing each student beyond the classroom and playing field, along with connecting and supporting my coaches and the athletic program's support staff/community.
