Jen Brooks, CMAA

About Jen

Jen Brooks, CMAA, has spent more than three decades working in education-based athletics and currently serves as the Athletic Administrator at Ursuline Academy in St. Louis. She is also the founder of the Global Community of Women in High School Sports, created around a simple belief: no woman should have to navigate sports leadership alone.

Jen's perspective is grounded in the real, everyday work of athletic administration: leading coaches, supporting student-athletes, navigating difficult conversations, building culture, working through change, and learning how to create space for others to lead.

Much of her work focuses on the parts of leadership that don't always show up in a job description: courage, belonging, trust, emotional intelligence, and the responsibility leaders have to open doors for others.

Jen's speaking style is conversational, practical, and rooted in real experience. She believes courage creates permission, leadership creates belonging, and some of the most important leadership work happens in moments no one else sees.
