About Branden
I bring experience, perspective, energy, and authenticity to a room. For more than 15 years, I have served as an athletic administrator, leading programs, coaches, student-athletes, and communities through both everyday challenges and high-pressure situations. I currently serve as Athletic Director at Lampeter-Strasburg, Chair of PIAA District III, and an adjunct professor at Millersville University. I am also the co-founder of IACP, where I work with athletic leaders to strengthen programs, systems, and culture.
What I value most is connection. I believe strong leadership starts with relationships, clear expectations, consistency, and a willingness to have honest conversations. I bring a practical perspective shaped by years of doing the work, but I also bring curiosity, humor, and a desire to keep learning. Whether I am leading, teaching, mentoring, or collaborating, I try to make the people around me feel heard, challenged, supported, and confident enough to lead in their own way.
What Branden speaks about
I’m most comfortable speaking about leadership in athletic administration, building strong department culture, and the day-to-day realities of leading coaches, student-athletes, families, and school communities. I can speak about communication, handling difficult conversations, parent and coaching concerns, creating clear expectations, developing coaches, and building systems that help an athletic department operate more consistently.
I’m also passionate about mentoring athletic administrators, particularly women in leadership, and talking honestly about confidence, balance, and sustaining yourself in a demanding profession. My experience has also given me a strong perspective on crisis management, event operations, student-athlete safety, and navigating the situations that rarely show up in an athletic director job description.
I enjoy sharing practical ideas that come from actually doing the work...what has worked, what I’ve learned from mistakes, and how athletic leaders can create programs that are both successful and sustainable.
