About Jamie
With 17 years of experience in education and athletics, Jamie Plecker has dedicated her career to supporting students through education, leadership, and extracurricular opportunities. She spent 12 years as a Health & Physical Education and Driver’s Education teacher, while also coaching field hockey, basketball, and soccer. For 10 years, she facilitated and sponsored the Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) Club, promoting positive decision-making and student leadership. Jamie also served as a Youth Development Lead Teacher for nine years, helping guide and support students beyond the classroom.
For the past five years, Jamie has served as a high school athletic director, providing leadership for student-athletes, coaches, and athletic programs. She currently serves on the Virginia Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association Board of Directors and is the President of the Eastern Virginia Athletic Directors Association. Passionate about educational athletics, Jamie is committed to creating positive, equitable, and meaningful experiences that help students grow both on and off the field.
