About Lisa

Lisa Corprew, CMAA is a lifelong Marlin who has dedicated almost three decades to student activities in Virginia Beach City Public Schools. A proud graduate of Bayside High School, Lisa returned to her alma mater in 1995 as a coach and was named Student Activities Coordinator in 1999.

Lisa earned her bachelor's degree from East Carolina University and holds the NIAAA certification of Certified Master Athletic Administrator (CMAA). Her leadership and service have been recognized at the local, state, and national levels, including the VIAAA Athletic Administrator of the Year, NIAAA State Award of Merit, NIAAA Distinguished Service Award, and an NFHS Citation Award. She has also served in numerous leadership roles with the VIAAA, including President, and currently contributes to the organization as a co-chair for the New Athletic Directors Workshop.

Lisa is passionate about education-based athletics, student opportunities, and building programs that are bigger than the scoreboard. She believes athletics and activities should teach life lessons, develop character, create belonging, and help students become successful long after graduation. Her commitment to Bayside is simple: serve students, support coaches, and keep making Bayside Proud!
