About Peg

Peg Pennepacker, CAA, is a retired K-12 educator having worked as a teacher, athletic coach, athletic director and assistant principal. Peg has worked with and continues to work with the Pennsylvania State Athletic Director’s Association (PSADA) and the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) to educate high school and middle school athletic directors about Title IX law and its application to athletics as well as other legal issues in sports.

Peg is the founder and owner of High School Title IX Consulting Services. She is also on the Advisor Board for the Association of Title IX Administrators (ATIXA).

Peg is recognized nationally as an expert in Title IX and athletics and has received recognition for her work both by PSADA and the NIAAA. In December 2022, Peg was inducted into the NIAAA Hall of Fame and in 2024 was inducted into the PSADA Hall of Fame.

Peg has been a student of the Title IX law for over four decades and continues to advocate for equal opportunities and equitable treatment for all students participating in their school’s interscholastic athletics program.

What Peg speaks about

Peg's main focus is Title IX athletics compliance for K12 schools. She also presents on other topics including hazing in athletics programs, locker room supervision, athletic culture, risk management in school athletics programs, Constitutional law in athletics, statutory law issues in athletics, transgender athletic participation and pregnant and parenting student-athletes. As a NIAAA National Faculty member teaching the four Legal Issues in Sports courses in the NIAAA's certification program, Peg is experienced in teaching many topic areas related to sports law issues in interscholastic sports.
